In the heart of Cannes, on a pedestrian street lined with shops and cafés, there is a corner restaurant with a large terrace that is busy year-round. This bustling gem is loved by locals and brings that Parisian hipster-chic flair to the seaside resort of Cannes. Le Cirque offers a relaxed ambiance with elegant, eclectic décor – geometric cement tile, a mix of marble, wood, and brass tables and chairs, decorative plates adorn the walls, and cool lamps set the tone. Fresh flowers are on every table and you’ll be greeted by the charming, friendly staff.
Le Cirque is open Monday through Saturday. It’s the perfect place for a casual lunch or an intimate dinner. During congress periods and the summer months, we would highly recommend making reservations in advance.
The restaurant offers primarily French cuisine with a Mediterranean influence. Le Cirque is skilled at taking classic French dishes and putting their own spin on it. The menu changes every three months, according to the season and local produce. Some of the dishes that will grace the menu include their steak tartar, duck magret, braised sea bass, and homemade gnocchi. They also offer an excellent array of appetizers and desserts – we highly recommend the lemon tart, it’s absolutely divine!
Le Cirque is also a lovely place to go in the afternoon or early evening. Enjoy one of their signature cocktails or a glass of wine for happy hour. The street and restaurant are always lively, making it a great place to people watch.
